I’ve personally experienced and have read many other accounts where XSS Filtering caused a problem with uploading files. It would also act differently between different web browsers used for the uploads.

The XSS Filtering is there for a reason, but seems that to get any kind of consistent and reliable outcome for some sites, it needs to be disabled opening up a potential security hole. What can be done around this?

I hear you. And I agree, it’s been pointed out many times.

The best thing I can do is have you file a Feature Request for me. Link that here and I will raise this issue with the Engineers tomorrow morning.

I know it’s not a feature request in a true sense of the word, because you are point out that it’s actually acting buggy. But then again it does work, so it is really a request that it work better or more consistently.

I Think the best route to take is to make it a Feature Request and let me be your advocate with the Engineers to see what can be done.
