    Hi all,

    Anyone know of a plug-in, accessory or the like, that will do the following:

    I have a channel Static Content holding - well - static content, created via the Pages module 😊

    The open entries from this channel, are shown as links in my site’s top menu, if a choice of Show in menu? = YES is made on the entry. This is a Select Dropdown with YES and NO choices.

    What I’d like: Is to have a second Select Dropdown called Menu Sort that has the number of open entries in the Static Content channel, where Show in menu? equals YES.

    I’d do it like this in an SQL statement:

    SELECT COUNT(show_in_menu) WHERE show_in_menu = "yes" AND status = "open";

    That way I can make the selection of where in the menu the page should be placed more elegant, than just entering a number in a text field. It’s no biggie, I can do it that way, I’d just love a more elegant approach to this. And I imagine others would love the ability to populate fields in the CP this way too?

    You can see what I mean in the attached screenshot, from the current site!

    Again, this is no showstopper at all, I just think many would love this as it’s more elegant and intuitive 😊
