(hope this is the right section to ask)

I’m trying to figure out why the homepage loads inline, when I open the “edit entry” form. It doesn’t happen by “new entry”.

Screenshot is from EE 2.5.3, but I tested with 2.5.2 as well. Could you at least give me a hint, is it a hook or something else which may cause it?

    Hi, Dimitar -

That looks like a custom CP theme; I’d like to first confirm if that is an issue you are seeing specific to the theme or if it’s more generalized.

Can you go to “My Account” > CP themes and change back to the default theme, then try this again and let us know if you see the same issue?

    Thank you!

    Hi Lisa,

Changed it back to default theme, but issue still happens. Please see attached screenshot.

    Hey there Dimitar,

Thank you for turning back to the default theme.

This still sounds like a Control Panel theme issue. Can you try something else for me?

Can you please upload the themes directory again and overwrite the existing one? In fact, to preserve your custom there, can you rename themes to oldthemes and then upload themes from the installation source and test?

I think that will really help.

    Cheers,

Here’s an update of what I tried:

    1. Updated to 2.5.3 final
    2. Replaced all themes
    3. In admin > general configuration > Name of your site’s index page - changed from index.php to nothing. When did 3., right after entry form is loaded, I’m redirected back to the homepage.

Point 3. happens even if I add “index.php” to “URL to your Control Panel index page” or not. I presume it’s misconfigured somehow.

    Found it! 😊

For some reason the accessory of Hits module caused it. I’ll debug further and will contact the developer.
