Hi there,

We have a fatal error happening on the following, causing the site to be down:

Fatal error: Class ‘CI_Log’ not found in /system/codeigniter/system/core/Common.php on line 166

It started when the disk was filled up and uploaded files in /codeigniter/libraries directory. The disk was freed up of space, but now we’re experiencing this odd CI_Log error.

Should I replace ALL files other than admin.php, index.php, and

/expressionengine/cache
/expressionengine/config
/expressionengine/templates
/expressionengine/third_party

folders?

I am sorry to hear you are running into this problem.

What version of ExpressionEngine are you currently on?

You might check the Apache access and error logs for more clues.

What I think you would end up doing is replacing the files as you have said, but make sure the source is the same version. I will basically just drag and drop all the files, aside from the usual persistent files like config and database, etc.

Thanks Shane - we’ve gone ahead and replaced the core files & reset the ownership/permissions to get it back online.
