    I’m running EE 2.5.2

I have the following 3rd party add-ons installed:

    SEO Lite
    Wygwam
    Freeform
    Accessible Captcha
    Low Seg2Cat
    Matrix
Minimee (disabled at the moment due to compression possibly the problem here)
    Primary Category
    ImageSizer

Just fairly recently (possibly after upgrading to 2.5.2, but not certain) I began receiving the following errors when viewing a front-end page while logged in to EE. With a refresh/reload, the page loads properly, but when any page is viewed for the first time, this error occurs.

    Safari:
“cannot decode raw data” (NSURLErrorDomain: -1015)

    Firefox:
    “Content Encoding Error”

I know this is a known Safari issue, that is not confined to EE: https://discussions.apple.com/message/5923092?messageID=5923092#5923092?messageID=5923092

Seems to be a cookie/compression issue that apple desperately needs to release a fix for. But in the meantime, I’d like to get this resolved as it is not confined to safari. It doesn’t affect any non-logged in users, but a pain in the butt while trying to preview posts when publishing or editing.

I’ve checked a few other posts on this forum, and have tried the one fix that has seemed to work for some people—I’ve disable GZIP compression via the CP and also manually with $config[‘compress_output’] = FALSE; in config.php. Disabling compression has not fixed this issue for me.

I have read one instance of ImageSizer causing this issue, but that instance was resolved when disabling GZIP compression. Again, that fix does not help me.

Anyone else still having this issue even with GZIP output disabled?
