I’ve got a recurring issue where if I look at a member group’s weblog assignment in the CP, I can see what they have, but if I alter it, and refresh that list, they have all been set to “no” for all the weblogs of the site.

I am using MSM and EE version 1.7.3 build #: 20120606

The only thing I have been able to do is restore from a backup or rebuild the privileges manually via inserting records into the database for the associated member groups.

Let me know if you need more information about my environment, but this is getting to be a frustrating problem that is occurring more and more frequently.

Thanks in advance for your help!

    Hey LiberalArts,

I am sorry to hear you are running into this problem.

Is this on the MSM site? What version of MSM are you currently using? Did you upgrade recently?

    Please let me know.

    Cheers,

    I’m showing that I have Version: 1.1 Build: 20100805

Is there an updated version for legacy MSM that I should update to?

    Thanks!

Also, I have upgraded EE recently from 1.6.9 to 1.7.3, but this issue was occurring before, in the hopes that the upgrade would fix the issue, and has not been the case.  I have updated the MSM files as I upgraded EE versions and added site licenses.

    Thanks again!

    Hey LiberalArts,

I would like to take a closer look at this.

Please be on the lookout for an email from EllisLab.
