I have new members who I’ve signed up to help edit their sites. When they log in they default to the primary site in EE-MSM - not the one their group has been assigned to.

Their site is in the drop down option in the control panel site links at the top right hand corner. So they can choose their site and go work on it.

Also the other sites may appear to be accessible, but when the members are in that site they can not actually do anything because they have not been assigned to that site.

Is there a way to make sure that when they log in they go directly to their site in the control panel?

A secondary but trelated problem - members have to log in from the main contol panel directory and not from the admin.php in their own directory. I have tried using that admin.php (with the proper system path) but it does not accept the password and simply does not log in - with no error message.

I am using EE v2.5.2 - Build: 20120606 and I installed the latest version MSM as of Januaury 2012.

    Thanks so much!

    Hi Dana,

The latest MSM is actually 2.1.3, released May 29, 2012. Let’s make sure you update to that version as the first step in troubleshooting here. Have you followed all parts of Step 3 in setting up the new site’s domain?

Could you let me know which member groups are assigned to which of the sites?
