This question may be related to a resolved thread.

I have EE 2.4 and just upgraded MSM from 2.1.2 to 2.1.3 so that I could add a new site.

I’m receiving the same errors (exactly) as above post when trying to add a new site:

at top of new site adding page:

Fatal error: Call to a member function result() on a non-object in /home3/brehmcen/public_html/manager/expressionengine/views/sites/edit_form.php on line 80

    all throughout the page:

    A PHP Error was encountered

    Severity: Notice

    Message: Undefined property: stdClass::$site_label

    Filename: sites/edit_form.php

    Line Number: 67

thanks in advance for any help.

    Hi Chuck,

I’m sorry to say that MSM version 2.1.3 is only to be used with ExpressionEngine 2.5.2

Using it with ExpressionEngine 2.4 is not supported. Be on the lookout for an email form EllisLab.

    Cheers,

PS - i purcahsed a new MSM license & it gave me the update automatically.

How can I add the new license to my old 2.1.2 MSM files ?

    Hey Chuck,

I think we got you all squared away in private, yes?

woah. did I miss that in the docs ?

Nope - I’ll make a note to fix that.

Indeed, that’s the way it works currently.

Is there anything else I can assist you with?

    Cheers,

    Hello

I’m having this exact issue, and I’m really hoping to avoid an upgrade to EE 2.5. I’m currently running EE 2.4, and just purchased 3 additional sites for my MSM. As noted in this thread, MSM 2.1.3 is not compatible with EE 2.4. I have a tight deadline to hit, and I don’t want to spend the time shutting down all 9 of my sites to perform the upgrade to EE 2.5.

It looks like you were able to reach a solution with Chuck Norton in private messages? Could you please provide me with the same courtesy?

    Thank you.
