    Running EE 2.4 and Mailing List Manager 3.0

    I am trying to support a member who is not a super admin but does have control panel access including full privileges under “Control Panel Email Privileges”.

    When she navigates to the Mailing List Module she is able to see the button labeled “Mailing List Preferences” but when she clicks on it she is gets:

    ===
    An Error Was Encountered
    You are not authorized to access this page
    ===

    Ideally I would like to give her access to this function.  Can you tell me what exact privileges I need to turn on in order to give her access to this function?

    Hello Peter,

    Thank you for posting your question here on the ExpressionEngine forums.

    The privileges are are controlled in the group preferences for the group this user belongs to.

    There are two sections to look at.

    Under Member Account Privileges -> Allow Members in Site’s Mailing Lists and Related Abilities? (i.e. Group Available in Communicate section) Set this to yes.

    Under Control Panel Email Privileges -> set these to yes.

    Please try that and let me know if that is what you are looking for.

    Thank you!

    Thanks Shane.  Both of those preferences are already set as indicated.  Anything else to try?

    Hey Peter,

    Hmmmm. I would like to login and take a look.

    Please be on the lookout for an email from EllisLab.

    Cheers,

    Just posting a note here to let onlookers know that we’re working with Peter privately on this for the time being. I’ll post an update back here once we have something to share!
