    Hi there,

My galleria gallery isn’t working. I know the path to the images are correct, as the images are showing.

I think it must be the link to the jQuery script, I am using:

    [removed][removed]

Should I be using a different method in my head tag? I wouldn’t have thought it should matter.

It is working on the plain html page I created before bringing the page into EE.

I have the jQuery plugin installed but I’m not sure if there are further steps I should be taking to enable jQuery with EE?

    Cheers

here is my link to jQuery, without tages, since the code was removed:

    src=“http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1/jquery.js”

    Hello feisnamara,

I am sorry to hear you are running into this problem.

I am not familiar with galleria. Can you contact the developer and ask this same question?

    Please let me know.

    Cheers,

Galleria is not the problem - it is working fine when it wasn’t brought into Expression Engine.

Perhaps, if you know, you could highlight some reasons why something running on jQuery wouldn’t work in EE? I haven’t used jQuery with EE before so I’m not sure if there are additional steps I should be taking when using it on my site?

    Cheers,

    Hello feisnamara,

It should work just fine. There is nothing you need to do aside from calling it.

What version of ExpressionEngine are you currently using?

    Thank you,

    Hi Shane,

    Thank you for your reply.

I’m using the most recent version of EE.

Does anyone else have any suggestions why a file with jQuery would work out of EE then when I bring it in, stop working?

Bit of a lack of response on here

    Thanks

My experience with these is that it’s usually a pathing issue.

View your rendered code and make sure the HTML can “see” all the related files that the Jquery needs.

Basically you just need to get EE to spit out the same HTML as the example page, and make sure any necessary paths are correct, and it should work.

Thank you for your reply Boyink - I had checked what I though were all the paths a few times but it turns out I had missed the code at the bottom of the page before the closing body tag. Silly mistake. But thanks again for your help.

    Cheers
