Hi guys,
Trying to run this upgrade and running into this:

    Error Number: 1062

Duplicate entry '1' for key 'PRIMARY'

ALTER TABLE `exp_member_homepage` ADD PRIMARY KEY `member_id` (`member_id`)

    Filename: updates/ud_200.php

    Line Number: 1700
"}

    Any ideas what’s going on?

    Thanks,
    Steven

    Hi Steven,

I am sorry you’ve had trouble with the upgrade from 1.6.4

The error is a result of trying to run the same statement twice. We see this usually as the result of a server behind a load-balacer.

We have a resource on the Wiki for Troubleshooting Upgrade Errors.

The first step is rolling back the files and database to the pre-upgrade state. If you are behind a load-balancer, any way to step around that for the update process would be recommended.

Once you’ve reset from the backup and tried again, let me know!

    Cheers,

    Dan,
    Sorry managed to resolve this.

I was running locally so no load balancer. Eventually rolled back, run some checks on the db and started again and all was well with the world.

    Thanks,
    Steven
