    I have installed EE v2.5.2

I have the site Template Group.  It contains the index.  When Im in the Template Manager and I click on the view for the default index template I get the redirect and then a Page Not Found Error.  The path looks like this:

    http://www.unifyingmeditation.org/index.php/site

When I change the path to this:

    http://www.unifyingmeditation.org/index.php

    The Page shows up fine.

I also have a Template Group called TestSite, also with the default index and get the same error when I try to view the index via the Template Manager.  I click view and get the redirect to this link:

    http://www.unifyingmeditation.org/index.php/TestSite

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

I am re-installing Expression Engine 2.5.2 to see if it was a kink in the install so please disregard the links above.  I will repost if it happens again.

    Update:

I have re-installed EE with a fresh database.  Still the same issue as stated above but I have tested with Firefox and get this error instead of the 404 page not found.

    No input file specified.

I did a search and it seems individuals on Godaddy have expienrenced this.  This site is hosted with GoDaddy.

Please if anyone else is having this issue, I really need some brains on this one.

Ack- welcome to the forums, Jaedis.  Sorry you ran into an issue and then had to hunt the solution down yourself.  Indeed, forcing query strings is the solution if you run into the 404 issue after install.  Note- if you use htaccess to remove index.php, it should still work for you.  Just tweak it in the htaccess files.

And if you run into any more issues, just let us know!
