    Hi all -

I have a monthly recurring product that is supposed to upgrade my member to the premium category. In the settings for the product in the CP I have it set correctly, but payment via Paypal works but does not upgrade my member’s profile.

i’ve just updated to EE 2.5.2 (v2.5.2 - Build Date: 20120606) and everything else is up to date. Ideas?

    Thanks -

    Hi julie p,

Was everything working properly before you upgraded? What version EE were you using before you upgraded to 2.5.2? If you look on the screen where you’re editing this particular item in your CP, which member group do you have set for subscribe and unsubscribe?

Hi there. No - it never worked, which is what prompted the upgrade from 2.4.x. I have a custom member group (Subscriber - Premium) for the purchase, and the default Member group if they stop the subscription. Thanks for checking in

Ok, so it never worked before. That’s good to know. Could you share the settings you have in place in your CP? Did you make sure to set up the PayPal IPN properly?

I’ll check with my client about the Paypal settings. I don’t have access to the account and Paypal sandbox isn’t playing nicely at the moment. stay tuned and thanks for the help!
