    Hi,

    EE2.4.0.

    Clicking ‘synchronize directory’ gets:

DIR NAME, # of FILES, Types of files. Clicking ‘submit’ gives
    http://kontera.com/kosys/index.php?S=4834985a7ab1d6e5f1243d51129cf868546ffdac&D=cp&C=content_files&M=do_sync_files

    But the screen is blank.

    [EDIT]

Also, when I click ‘Add File’ in a publish layout, I just get jumped to the top of the screen, there is no dialog box. I double-checked that the supporting javascript files are being loaded properly.

    Hey Versa Studio,

I am sorry to hear you are running into this problem.

Has there been any changes recently?

Can you enable *debugging, that blank page is more than likely a PHP error we cannot see.

*To turn debugging on please go to your Control Panel and navigate to Admin->System Administration-> Output and Debugging. Please set the last two settings, which are “Display Output Profiler?” and “Display Template Debugging?”, to yes.

Please let me know what you find.

    Cheers,

    Shane,

I recently upgraded to 2.4, and ran in to some errors where the comments table was not found. I eventually got through the install process, that error came up again, so I went to MODULES and installed the comments module (comments are not is use on this site).

Please see original message above, there are other issues.

Also, I am getting periodically logged out of EE for no apparent reason.

    Hey Versa Studio,

It sounds like something is not right with your custom layout. Can you try resetting that and then trying again? Sometimes the custom layouts do get in that funny state and the only way to fix this is to reset.

The file sync, was this working before? Is this a new upload destination?

Can you check via FTP to see if the file was uploaded successfully? If it was, what are the perms? Bad perms will stop a sync.

    Please let me know.

    Thank you,

I’m suspicious that some Javascript is missing - another problem - clicking the notice does not close it. Sound familiar?

    Hey Versa Studio,

Yeah, that does sound a bit familiar.

A quick check would be to upload the themes folder again from a clean installation, maybe even download from ExpressionEngine.com again and unzip to your server. Make sure it all gets there. The themes folder is where the CSS, JS and Images for the Control Panel come from.

Let me know if that does anything.

    Thank you,

Same problems persist after replacing /themes

I know you prefer to go through common issues before logging in directly, but given my experience with these kinds of issues, may I suggest that you just login to the CP? LMN if you want credentials via PM.

I need to PM you for security, but your mailbox is full. Does Ellis Lab have a secure web form for this?

    Shane,

I received your email, but I’m not comfortable sending login credentials via email - it’s not secure.  I thought you guys had an SSL form for this?
