I’ve made this nice embedded news list on the index template (front page), and now the customer wants it on all pages of the site, but when i place the same embed code on the “page” template, it dosn’t bring the data, but only the static html outside the {exp:channel…}

Do i need to change some path or what am i missing?

in your channel entries tag, do you have dynamic set to “no”?
