I’m having an odd issue at a forum that I help running. All external links fail as they’re being re-written to some proxy hosted on http://zmezk2.appspot.com that neither I or the other admins have any knowledge of, so I suspect that some kind of hacking has taken place.

I need to find out where this happens so I’m looking to find where external links are being built up in the Discussion Forum module. Can anyone help me find where this happens?

I would check for an .htaccess file to start. Are you using one?

Yeah. I use a .htaccess for removing the index.php. The file contains only what it should. I turned off auto-linking URLs in the forum and also turned off the Low Nospam extension. This removed the proxy and also solved another problem I had.

I suspect that this extension was what caused this. I have no idea why it sent links out through a proxy that didn’t work though 😕
