Email Module Problems

    I’ve got a simple contact form running on a clients website using the Email Module - Contact Form. When I test it using my email address as the return email address (under email configuration), I receive all the forms. When I change it back to my clients they claim they’re not receiving any of the forms. I sent another test one that they say they received but they don’t receive any of their test ones. They site was running over the weekend and they say they’ve had a few calls from people who had submitted the form but got no reply as my client had not received any messages.

    I’ve currently changed the email to one of their throwaway Yahoo address and it seems to be working for them.

    1) What possible reason could there be for the form haphazardly sending for them sometimes but working perfectly for me?

    2) Is there anywhere on the DB or CP that will have kept a log of the forms sent so my client can see who’s contacted them the last 2 days?

    Hey Deeper,

    I am sorry to hear you are running into this problem.

    It sounds like the email address your using for your client is not getting the email or it’s putting them in SPAM.

    There is not log in the Control Panel, but you may be able to check your server logs.

    I think you may need to use a different email address or service.
