WordPress has a navigation feature that allows CP users to add and reorder navigation links. Does EE have anything similar to this OR anyway to create anything similar to this?

Many thanks I will take a look. In EE 1.0 I used to use an image resize plug in by I think it was Solspace. Is there such a plug in for EE 2.0 or is one indeed needed to resize images?

CE Image is the best, imo.

Thanks ... I have noticed that EE 2.0 seems to have some resize tools via the file manager. What is the pro and cons of this in comparison to the ‘ce-image’ software?

Hi MarkerMaker,
The image sizing in ExpressionEngine 2 is “permanent”. The image is resized and saved to the manipulation folder.
With CE Image, it can resize “on-the-fly” and cache the output. So you can store 1 high-quality asset and size it as needed at run-time in various templates.

Thanks guys ... I see. I think CE Image may be in order as I would like one upload field to create images for a couple of locations on my website ie. a large image, a thumb and possibly another type of thumb for a gallery. With that in mind I assume CE Image would be the best option as I assume it allows a bunch of CE code placed straight into a template where you call the image? A bit like the original Solspace plug in.

I assume you guys have got experience with ‘CE Image’ as I have hit a bit of a brick wall. Added single tag as instructions but no go. I was not sure if it may be something to do with my local server, running MAMP.
