Since there really is not a proper fully fledged add-on for a holiday bookings system and since this is something that has to be made to order by an add-on developer I was wondering if there are any other EE designers or site owners who may want the same thing and share the cost of developing this add-on.

That is, this type of add-on is difficult and expensive to develop. We would we contracting a third party to develop it. To be fair we need to make sure the developer creates something that is good quality. This costs! (In the thousands of dollars, BTW). But becomes more affordable if we have several parties with the same need to split the cost of this development between us.

Anybody interested?

Might be better to go for a general purpose booking system, rather than limit to “holiday” bookings. Make it flexible enough to accomodate any sort of product that needs to be booked?

This example (there are hundreds out there), however, would be nice if it intergrated nicely into ee itself.
