I originally posted this in Community Help, to no avail.  Hopefully, this forum can provide what I need…

I’m getting quite a few 404’s and an occasional EE error, as evidenced by inspection of the Template Manager Hits.  As far as I have been able to tell, I should not be getting any 404’s from any internal links.  I would like to fire an email to myself from within my 404 template (and EE error template), so as to see if there’s anything I need to fix on the site.

That email would include the segments, in the case of 404’s, or the EE error in the other case.

Of course, this may just be someone poking around from the browser address line, but still, I’d like to be able to see what’s going on.

    Any ideas?

Perfect.  Thanks for the idea.  (I checked Devot-ee earlier, but apparently I must have goofed up the search.)

    Consider this post closed.  Thanks,—Jim
