    Hi!

I’m tying to import users from EE1 to EE2.
I followed this wiki article and it returned a txt file with the users.

But when I try to convert this file to xml through the EE2 tool it throws a parse error.
I tried several changes in the txt file but I can’t make it work.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

    Hello LuCmf,

Thank you for posting your question here on the ExpressionEngine forums.

The export and import of members is a bit tricky and it does take a few tries to get it just right.

A few things to look out for. No email as usernames, that does not work. Look for funny characters that might trip things up. Try taking the file apart and converting in chunks until you find the chunk that throws the error.

Please let me know if that helps.

    Cheers,
