I can’t seem to find the setting that allows certain membergroups access to select categories on the publish page. Where is that setting? I have gone into Membergroup Manager and changed the

Can edit and add new categories Yes    
Can delete categories Yes

(although I only wish them to be able to select them whilst editing or publishing on the publish page. I do not wnat them to be able to edit them.)

These settings do not seem to give that usergroup access to the “categories” tab on the publish page. How do I give a membergroup access?

Hi Evoir,

If the have access in the Member Group preferences, then I would look in Publish Layouts.

While in a new entry, click the “Show Toolbar” link and make sure the Member Group has access to a publish layout that includes the Categories tab.

Hey Giraffentoast,

You need to grant access to that member group.

I recommend just duplicating the Super Admin group and then removing what you do not want. That is SO much easier.

If you need anything else, please just let me know by opening a new thread.
