After purchasing an additional site license I’ve followed instructions from http://ellislab.com/expressionengine/user-guide/cp/sites/additional_sites.html

When I get to “Create New Site” page I get following error: “Fatal error: Call to a member function result() on a non-object in [MY SERVER PATH]/expressionengine/views/sites/edit_form.php on line 80”

The page stops rendering on the “File Upload Preferences” section. Obviously, there is no way to complete the site setup process.

    Hello istros,

I am sorry to hear you are running into this problem.

Can you tell me what versions you are working with? MSM version number and EE version number.

    Thank you,

    Hello istros,

Are you copying over a Forum as well?

Are you using any Add-Ons that deal with Members and/or visitors?

    Please let me know.

    Cheers,

I’m not copying anything. And I don’t have Forum installed. The page that is giving the error is the first screen after you select “Create New Site”. No Add-Ons for members/visitors.

    Hey istros,

    This is so odd.

Are all the sites and MSM on the versions you mention? If one version is off, stuff will break.

    Please let me know.

    Cheers,

All the sites were installed with EE 2.4.0 but after I installed MSM 2.1.3 another new site couldn’t be added. I had to upgrade EE to the current version 2.5.2 to make MSM work again.

    This issue is resolved now.

    Hello istros,

Glad to hear this is resolved. Version mismatches will break MSM.

If you need anything else, please just let me know by opening a new thread.

    Cheers,
