I’m looking for a solution for website that will have subscription based membership as well as sell physical products. So far it doesn’t seem like there’s one addon that can accommodate both.
So far I’ve found:
http://www.invanto.com/eemember - I’ve submitted question asking if they can accommodate physical products, waiting for reply.
http://www.membrr.com/ - I’ve submitted question asking if they can accommodate physical products ANSWER: no
http://exp-resso.com/ - Subscriptions are on their wish list, but it doesn’t look like they’re ready yet.
http://www.brilliantretail.com - doesn’t look like it will work with subscriptions, but I have submitted the question to presales forum.
Is there something more out there?
If I use something like eemember and brilliantretail together it seems unlikely that a membership and physical product could be in the same shopping cart, which would be a huge blemish on the user experience. I figure I can’t be the only one out there that has faced this situation and am hoping to benefit from someone’s experience.
