I tried searching, but can’t find the thread I once saw on how to delete template revisions.  I have set it to 10 or so and now my database is huge with the amount of templates I’ve used on my site.  Is there step-by-step instructions on how to remove these automatically or manually so I don’t screw up my database?

I remember vaguely about deleting some records within a table, but I’m a noob at MySQL.

Any help would be great.  Thank you.

    Hey TheBronzePatriot,

Thank you for posting your question here on the ExpressionEngine forums.

There is no automatic way to do this. You can use MySQL, but I would actually try changing your workflow a bit.

You could save templates as files and use version control. There is so many benefits to this workflow, once you try it you will never want to go back. If you are interested, I can go into more detail on this.

You could also scale back on the amount of revisions. 10 is a lot, 3 sounds like a better number to me, but that’s just me.

Please let me know if there is anything else I can help with.

    Cheers,
