    Hi,

I’m making a copy of our production site for local development using EE 2.4. So far the local copy is functioning as expected except for a single template group. We’re using the default .htaccess file, a fully sync’d db, and the correct relative urls. I can see that it redirects correctly (http://www.website.com/test -> to http://www.website.com/test/more) but after redirecting it throws a 404. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here’s the debug on that particular page:

    (0.000009 / 7.26MB) - Begin Template Processing -
    (0.000771 / 7.32MB) URI: test/overview
    (0.000787 / 7.32MB) Path.php Template: test/_test-no-image-overlay
    (0.000800 / 7.32MB) Retrieving Template
    (0.000814 / 7.32MB) Retrieving Template from Database: test/_test-no-image-overlay
    (0.001780 / 7.32MB) Template Found
    (0.001860 / 7.33MB) Retrieving Template from File
    (0.004313 / 7.61MB) Template Type: 404

    Hi Eddie R,

Let me make sure I got this:

You have a template at /test

It redirects to /test/more - this is where the 404 occurs.

Is there anything in the “more” template that could be causing a loop?

Let’s see the index and more template code so we can help you troubleshoot this.

    Cheers,

    Hi,

Thanks for replying– would it be alright if I sent the index and redirected pages via PM ?

    Cheers,

    Hi Eddie,

EllisLab staff keep our PMs off for security concerns. Since the nature of ExpressionEngine help is all about the Community, we like to keep as much in the forums as possible.

Is there any way you can post the template code with your next reply? You can simply include it in your post inline.

    Cheers,
