Is there a way to display only future entries?

    show_future_entries=“yes”

    You can determine whether you wish for entries dated in the “future” to be included. This option is useful when doing things like creating a list of events, some of which have not occurred yet. Note that EE will still display past entries; this parameter simply instructs EE to also include entries from the future.

    I’d like to create a template that only brings in future entries.
    show_future_entries=“only” or show_past_entries=“no” would be nice…

    I know it’s only wishful thinking, but I’m hoping there a way around this—-any ideas?

    thanks!

    See http://ellislab.com/expressionengine/user-guide/modules/channel/channel_entries.html#start-on - where it references using the current time variable as a setting for the start_on parameter.

    Hi Boyink!

    Thanks for the assist.

    This is probably a redundant question, but I’m having a hard time wrapping my head around it. Can you verify that I’m interpreting this correctly?

    ... So every time the page loads it would take the current time stamp and then show any future entries.

    {exp:channel:entries channel="{my_weblog}" sort="desc" start_on="{current_time format='%Y-%m-%d %H:%i'}" show_future_entries="yes"}

    The above would display future entries starting from the current time.
