I have this code

{exp:weblog:categories category_group="2" style="linear"}

{category_name}

{/exp:weblog:categories}

I have two categories in this group, so two categories should appear however nothing does.  When I change the group to “1”  the default group appears.

I have no entries tied to these categories, is that why it is not working?

I created a new weblog and assigned the category group 2 to it and then specified that weblog in the exp parameters.  I’m having new problems however with if statements within the tag:  http://ellislab.com/forums/viewthread/218841/
