I reported an issue with importing a site that had been built in a standalone version of EE into another EE website running Multiple Site Manager (thread is here http://ellislab.com/forums/viewthread/218415/).

Because we were unable to import the site into MSM we have purchased a new licence so we can run the site within its own installation of EE. I’ve extracted a copy of the database for the site and updated the configuration files (system/expressionengine/config/database.php; config.php). When running the EE installer (admin.php) it’s saying we are running version 2.5.0 and are we ready to update to 2.5.1. When we click the link to upgrade it’s giving the following error message:

    A Database Error Occurred
    Error Number: 1146
    Table ‘pkuconnect.exp_throttle’ doesn’t exist
    ALTER TABLE `exp_throttle` CHANGE `ip_address` `ip_address` varchar(45) DEFAULT ‘0’ NOT NULL
    Filename: updates/ud_251.php
    Line Number: 81

Please can you advise what we’re supposed to do here?

    Thanks,
    Andy

    Hello Ŧom,

Are you running the installer with information in the database already? You may just want to install 2.5.2 and then import the database after you are done.

    Does that make sense?

    Cheers,
