    When I add the ‘exp:channel:’ tag to my template page, it throws an error. Everything else seems to be working fine. This is the full tag:

    {exp:channel:entries channel='news'}
    {news_body}
    {/exp:channel:entries}

    and this is the error message:

    Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 1474560 bytes) in /usr/www/geology-web/public_html/system/expressionengine/modules/channel/mod.channel.php on line 4533

    Are you able to output another field besides {news_body}?

    {exp:channel:entries channel=‘news’}
    {title}
    {/exp:channel:entries}

    Hey rashton,

    This is odd. The error here is usually seen when uploading or executing some PHP.

    Can you create a new template and put that code block in there to test? Any errors?

    If no errors then paste the entire template code in here so I can check it out a bit.

    What is in the news body currently, I mean what is in the entry this is pulling up? How many entries are in this channel? 100 or more?

    Please let me know!

    Cheers,
