Hello out of the sudden im getting blank pages in my control panel.

The updates are coming through, but it gives a white page and i am not getting redirected to my control panel.

    The url looks like this:

    admin.php?S=0&D=cp&C=design&M=update_template&tgpref=1

    (white page)

Im also noticing the frontpage has the same problem. I can’t process any update anymore. Adding new entries is not a problem but updating entries / templates (whatever setting)gives me a blank page.

Im in a kinda hurry, since we are running a webshop and my customer is missing alot of orders this way.. :(

Hello out of the sudden im getting blank pages in my control panel.

    Hi Jeroen,

Can you provide a little more information on your issue? Are you saying that you were not experiencing this issue all along until a certain point recently? Was there any change in your hosting environment? Do you have an .htacess file in your website’s root? If so, were any changes made to that .htaccess file recently? Did you update EE just before this issue began to occur?

The issue would suggest that there was some change that may have resulted in the issue suddenly occurring. Without any more information it would be difficult to pinpoint a cause.

thanks for your reply. I havent changed anything. I also moved the website to another server and i don’t have any problems there. I emailed my hosting provider and asked if they changed anything.

    Hi Jeroen,

Looking at the URL you provided, the session ID is “0”. With no changes after installation, ExpressionEngine uses sessions and cookies to keep you authenticated.

You have the option to use cookies only, which would explain the “0”, but you should see something like this:

    S=4f96bb6a29767eef66347a4c4a60500a0dfccbcd

How are you accessing the entries to edit them?

    Cheers,

    Thanks anyway!

    Hey Jeroen,

That’s really odd! I wonder what they changed?

I am glad it’s working now!

If you need anything else, please just let me know by opening a new thread.

    Cheers,
