Hello,
When I save a document in the ee admin area it’s dog slow. The rest of the site seams to be acceptable on speed. On the dev server the save is instant. Any ideas how to fix this issue?

Thanks for posting to the forums!
Are each installation exactly the same? Does the live site have anything that the dev site doesn’t have?
Are they served from similar hardware, network, etc?
What version of ExpressionEngine are you using and do you have any third_party add-ons installed?
