Hi,
when I clear my cache via the CP the files in system/expressionengine/cache are not deleted.
This is sad because when I sync my webspace via ftp it has to download aaaaaaaaalll the useless cached files.
I could delete them manually, as Brandon pointed out here. Just wonder if it’s a bug or something special on my installation?

What version of ExpressionEngine are you running?
Are you using any Add-Ons or a Custom Themes in the Control Panel?

Hi Shane,
I waited with my answer until I have updated to the most recent version of EE.
Everything seems to be ok now after I have updated to 2.5.2, but I had this behavior from 2.1 to 2.3.
