I upgraded to Version 2.5.1 and and having the following issues:

    1. The upload image button isn’t working from within the New Entry page. It works from the file manager though.

    2. I get this error when I go to “Add-ons > Modules”:  “Unable to load the requested language file: language/english/rte_lang.php”

Anybody have any ideas as to what may be the issue?

Ok, I fixed the error on the modules page, was missing that file for some reason.  However, I am having an issue with the upload image button. I have attached an image that shows the upload file interface on the post entry page. It definitely doesn’t belong there, not sure where to start with this.

    Thanks

This all just sounds like an issue with the /themes/ folder. As if it wasn’t fully backed up and then replaced with all new files. I would make sure you have a full back up of your old /themes/ folder, then delete your current set entirely, and re-upload with fresh ones that came with 2.5.1.

Also, clear caches once the new /themes/ are in place.

    Hey Danny Valle,

I second Kurt’s advice. That’s most likely the culprit!

I replaced the themes folder with the new version entirely, but it didn’t work.  BUT, what I realized what I may have done, is not properly replaced the system folder correctly when upgrading.  Is it possible to run through the upgrade process once again to ensure a proper upgrade?

    Hey Danny,

Yes, check out this article. You will want to backup first as running the update will update the DB as well.

    Cheers,
