Hi,

I’m having CP problems on a new site using EE 2.5.0 build 20120507. Logged in as Super Admin, when I try to add a button to the main menu (clicking the + Add button), I get this forbidden message:

FORBIDDEN:

You dont have permission to access /system/index.php?S=7fef4b1afbbf76807661abe97aa1776a20f837d1&D=cp&C=myaccount&M=main_menu_manager_add&link=C--tools_data/M--clear_caching&linkt=Q2xlYXIgQ2FjaGVkIERhdGE= on this server.

any idea what’s causing this? I have other sites on the same host, and I’ve never encountered this before.

I am sorry to hear you are running into this problem.

I am unable to reproduce this.

Are you using any Control Panel themes or Add-Ons?

Hi Shane,

No, no CP themes, and the only installed add-ons are Zoo Visitor, Freeform, and CP Menu Master. I’ve tried disabling all add-ons, but the issue still occurs.

UPDATE: I’ve upgraded the site to 2.5.1, but still encountering the same issue.

The quickest resolution with this might be for us to take a look.

Before that, can you double check the folder perms and the ownership of the files in system?

I’ve checked all permissions as per the EE installation instructions, and they are all correct. Not sure what else I can check. I’m going to PM you the login details.
