    Hi,

I’ve got a spam issue to deal with concerning member registrations and have tried the blacklist module and LowNoSpam with Akismet, but there’s still a lot getting through.

All the spam registrations are either @gmail.com or @hotmail.com and hardly any serious registrations are. I want to block them - will entering gmail.com and hotmail.com in the url field of the blacklist work?

    Thanks,

    Hello Clive,

Thank you for posting your question here on the ExpressionEngine forums.

You can use url fragments to block. So just gmail.com would work great.

Have you tried changing your Profile Triggering Word under Member Preferences in the Control Panel? That really helps. Think of a hard to guess word.

    Cheers,
