When we post a new entry in a channel they do not become visible. (Status set to open, no caching). The channel entries tag only shows them with future_entries enabled.

In the CP the date field is set to today’s date, and the time is half an hour ago, so that should put it in the past.

I checked the timestamp in the database and it’s
    1337702446

If I use TIME() in PHP right now it’s
    1337700621

So, technically, the entry is in the future, but it’s not supposed to be. Any ideas what might be causing this?

    Hi gwarek,

Several factors play into what time ExpressionEngine thinks it is.

    The Server’s time and timezone.

    The timezone setting in php.ini

The timezone set for ExpressionEngine in Admin-> Localization Settings and any “server offset” *and* the DST setting

The timezone for your individual Member account *and* your member’s DST setting

If any one of those is set improperly, it can result is date/time inconsistency.

    Cheers,
