Hi EE Community,

My webhost changed my server today and a website running 1.6.7 is now DEAD. :(

- I’ve changed the settings to the new and correct DB in system/config.php
- I’ve 777 the cache folder and some other media folders.

The result:
- The website is completly blank when visiting the URL. (No HTML)
- I can though visit the login page /system but without any CSS.
- When I try to login with my username and password it says:

“The username you submitted was not found in the database”

I know I’ve written the correct username. I’ve even checked in phpmyadmin.

Please, help me. I would be soo grateful.

Hi Osze,

I’m sorry for the trouble you’ve run into after the changes your host made.

Read through the Wiki article on Moving ExpressionEngine 1 to Another Server and check with your host on any other changes that may have had an effect on this.

The most important make sure to verify your file paths haven’t changed for your hosting account.
