Hi,

My server recently had some adjustments and everything is back to normal, however only the homepage of my site will not load. I keep getting an empty or no response from the server. Any url other than / opens (ie. /page, /image.jpg). This site is also part of an MSM install and the other sites in the install open fine including their homepages.

I’ve removed the .htaccess rules I have in place to remove index.php and the same error still occurs (ie. /index.php/page loads but index.php will not).

I also tried copying over the index.php file from the other site in the install. Then the homepage would open with the usual brokeness associated with that situation. Upon changing the site_url in the MSM config on index.php it continued to load. However when I set the proper site_name for the site the homepage fails to load again.

What could be going wrong? It seems a really weird issue.

Can anyone help me out with this? The issue is on a live site for one of our large clients so I really need to get things fixed asap.

I finally found the issue. For some reason the old word_limi plugin was causing the problem in the template. I replaced it with another similar plugin and no issues.
