    Hi there,

I have a website with MSM installed and we are running 2 sites on that setup:

    http://www.domain.com
    http://sub.domain.com

When I access to the CP from http://sub.domain.com/system/, the site is the default one, not the sub-site.

Not sure if it’s a feature request or a bug… that sounds so obvious.

    Thanks!

    Regards,

    Pv

    Hi Pv Ledoux,

    Thanks for your question!

What version of ExpressionEngine and MSM are you using?

Based on a typical MSM setup, you wouldn’t access the Control Panel via a URL like you have styled. Additional sites’ Control Panels are generally accessed via a URL like

    <a href="http://sub.domain.com/admin.php">http://sub.domain.com/admin.php</a>

The reason being, that when adding additional sites, you only copy over index.php and admin.php from the main ExpressionEngine installation. /system and all other EE files and folders remain in place under the primary/original site.

    Cheers,

    Hi Dan,

thanks for your response. Well, that’s what I was trying to avoid 😉

Never mind, I think my going to write a little extension for that.

    Cheers!
