    Hi guys
I have a site that was built on and is hosted with Webstarts, I need it developed and have been told that the coding on Webstarts isn’t very good ( I didn’t build it myself and I’m not at all computer literate so replies in VERY understandable language please or i won’t understand them ) for developing sites. My designer has done a really beautiful job on the site but we seem to have come unstuck with the development.
A couple of local guys use EE and I’ve had a look at the forum page ( cos we need a forum page )and like it.
My question is .... can my site be transfered from Webstarts to EE, would EE automatically change the coding and can it be done without damaging the current look of the site ?
    Thanks
    Steve

    Hi Steve,

Thank you for your question and interest in ExpressionEngine!

While ExpressionEngine is a fantastic and flexible tool, nothing is automatic.

Moving your site into ExpressionEngine would require a good bit of work, but in the end would be completely worth the effort.

I would suggest you have some conversations with the people you know that are using ExpressionEngine. Of course, we are here to assist along the way and answer any questions you might have.

    Cheers,
