Hi Many of my clients live in rural areas that do not have access to high speed internet (DSL,Cable,Fiber…). Most have Satellite internet, which provides moderate speeds down but very slow on upstream data transfers. 1 Mbps down and 200Kbps up.
Specifically when they are uploading an image through the overlay/file manger, the connection times out and the upload does not complete.
I realize asking them to reduce the size of images they upload will help. Is there anything else I can do to optimize the Control Panel and its process for a slow internet connection? Is there any supported simplified CP themes? I would appreciate any suggestions.
