    I was just starting to setup my forum, version 3.1.7, and created some groups and so on.
    I than tried, logged in as admin, to post a message to the board.

    Pressing the “submit post” button empties my message and all is cleared.
    Looking at the board no post has been submitted.

    I tried with several different accounts (groups) besides my admin account. Nothing gets posted.
    I used several different add-ons to get the email login working. Disabled them all and removed my cookies.
    Still not possible to post to the forum.
    Tried cookies and session. The forum url shows the session nicely, but also now…. not able to post

    http://www.domain.com/help/forum
    forum template contains:

    {if logged_in}
    {exp:forum}
    {if:else}
    {embed="members/login"}
    {/if}

    Forum setting:
    Forum Board Short Name: main
    Forum URL: http://www.domain.com/help/forum
    Forum Triggering Word: “empty”

    Kind regards,
    Martijn

    Edit: removed and installed the forum again, No luck.
    Edit 2: add myself, Super Admins, to the administrators section of the forum. No luck.

    Ok solved.

    Hi Gfive(tm),

    I’m glad you were able to resolve this on your own.

    Keep in mind, we do our best to make a first response within 2 business days!

    I would also like to note the officially supported method for removing index.php, it works a treat in 99% of sites and causes almost 0 headaches.

    If you need anything else, feel free to start a new thread.

    Cheers!
