    Hi,
    I am in the midst of doing a server migration and I’ve gotten the install to work, but I have two issues. The first, that open_basedir restriction in effect, is something I’m trying to figure out from the hosting end unless you’ve got some awesome ideas on how to fix it. The other is that for some reason on my control panel I can’t get my navigation menus to pop out, so I essentially have no access to my tools and admin pages. I also noticed that the menu capsules no longer have rounded ends - they’re square. Related problem? Jquery or javascript? I think all of the files were reuploaded properly. This is 2.4.0, by the way.
    Thanks.

    Hi tableture,

    Since you have moved your installation, it would be a good idea to check of the list outlined in “Moving ExpressionEngine to Another Server”.

    It sounds as though your path and URL to /themes may be off kilter.

    open_basedir is going to fall squarely with your host, so you are on the right track there.

    Cheers,

    Is there a way for me to change my paths if I can’t access the page to change them within the control panel? I did follow the checklist, and the admin.php and index.php files both appear to be formatted correctly.

    Hi jtnews,

    These settings have a config override equivalent in /system/expressionengine/config/config.php

    $config['theme_folder_path'] = '/path/to/themes';
    $config['theme_folder_url'] = 'http://url.to.themes/themes/';

    Add those to config.php with your values and that will override any setting in the Control Panel.

    Let me know if you have any questions!

    Cheers,
