I can’t delete members on a fresh 2.4 install. When I try I get the error message:

A Database Error Occurred

Error Number: 1146

Table ‘database_name.exp_comment_subscriptions’ doesn’t exist

DELETE FROM `exp_comment_subscriptions` WHERE `member_id` IN (‘4’)

Filename: models/member_model.php

Line Number: 582

I don’t have the comment module installed.

I tried a fix from a similar bug but that didn’t work. Any ideas? Thanks…

I’m sorry you’ve run into this!

Good job checking the Bug Tracker first, but you found the wrong bug! There is a bug directly related to this error.

Apply the fix outlined in that report and let me know if the issue goes away.

I actually tried this fix already and it didn’t work. I searched the bug tracker pretty well and I haven’t found an error exactly the same as mine.

You are still unable to delete members?

Are you using any third-part member related add-ons like Zoo’s Visitor or Solspace’s User?

Any other add-ons?

Correct, both fixes are in place and I am still unable to delete members and still get the same error.

I have profile:edit installed but this issue happened before the addon was installed.

Other addons I’m using are:

CartThrob
FreeForm
Mailing List
MX Google Map
SEO Lite
Structure
Wygwam
Zoo flexible admin

Sorry to resurrect a thread, but I seem to be getting this issue too when trying to delete a member. Running EE 2.4.0 with the comments module uninstalled, and without the hotfix for bug 17380 applied (different table, different action). I am running Zoo Visitor too. Has this been fixed in 2.5?

Hi Electric Putty,

The bug is marked as fixed, and it was fairly onerous. Looking in the referenced file in 2.5, it has the updated code from the bug fix.
