I am using EE2.3.1 and was experiencing problems when I tried to import new member data. php errors were raised. This is a bug and is described here https://support.ellislab.com/bugs/detail/16747/#13190 . I implemented the fix as suggested and it works but no confirmation is given when the import has completed? A bit worried by this?

Hi welshartnow,
I spoke with our developers and we went looking in the code. A successful import should redirect to the Member Import Utility “homepage” in the Control Panel and post a notification in the Notification Bar. If that happens, you should see a little green “1” pop down from the top of the browser viewport. The notification should contain the number of members imported.
Do you recall seeing this after you applied the fix and re-ran the import?

Hi Dan, yes it does return to the member import utility , I don’t recall seeing the little green thing but it probably missed it. Thank you for asking on my behalf
