Hi, I’ve never had this problem, but for some reason my blog entry won’t publish if it has more than 2500 characters. Any ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If it would help, the blog is cooltownstudios.com. Notice how I left a ‘coming soon’ message since the text won’t publish.

    Hi Tux,

There isn’t a set limit built into ExpressionEngine, so there must be something else in play here. If you are using the textarea field type, then the practical character limit is over 65K. However, this can be an effect of the overall number of channel fields you are using.

How many channel fields do you have total?

Do you see any errors when you submit an entry that is over 2500 characters?

    What field type is this?

What version of ExpressionEngine are you using?

I’m sure we can get this squared away, I just need a little more context.

    Cheers,
