I have experience with CI and I am about to start on a big project. I always made my own administration systems but since the scale of this project and also looking toward the future where someone might need to take over my work I need a more robust system. Half of the functionality seems to be in EE already but there are things I will need to write modules for.

Since some of the things I will need to make myself will be complex and I am trying to get a grasp on what I will need to do. Are there screen-casts available which will handle the creation of module/extension just to get an idea of the structure? Also is there a demo version or test version so I can test the look and feel of the EE?

I could not find any screencasts on module development, but this Module Tutorial is really good at breaking down an Add-On to get at the structure. We also have this extensive guide on Module development.

As for your interest in a demo, be on the lookout for an email.
