If a site was created using CodeIgniter and the url of the site changed, do I need to change anything else but the base URL in the config file?  I did that but one of my links is still nor working.  It requires you to click on a button, but the correct page does not load. And that started happening after we did a redirect of the old url to the new one. I hope that made sense!!!  I have never used CodeIgniter before and is not even a big PHP person.

That’s very hard to know.  If the developer used the CI URL helper functions for creating every single url/anchor/etc, then that’s all you would have to change.  If they manually created the url in a view file, then you would have to find it and fix it, preferably using the url helper functions.  It could also be hard-coded in a javascript file.

Thanks for responding so quickly. I guess I will just have to keep looking.  The PHP code refer to a url that is nowhere on the server eg. echo site_url(quotes/add)and I know (rather think) it has something to do with that…but thanks anyways.
