Hi Everyone,

After a 22 line twitter convo with @pixelandtonic, i’ve been directed to you to further troubleshoot this issue with Matrix that shows up in the front-end, NOT the back end. The back end is error-free and functioning.

On the front end, any page load yields (attached image)

Went over all the obvious things - like file placement, re uploading, permissions, enabling/disabling, even character set.

Now, since EE loads the module, I need to know if you can help me fix it or we have to hack EE : / If that even works.

Please advise, and hopefully we can get this going. I’m not afraid to go into the guts of the system.

Would it be too easy to start with the low-hanging fruit?

The error points to the Matrix extension as the culprit. You say you have verified and re-verified that the files for Matrix are all in the right place. That’s awesome! The simple question is, did you make sure the extension for Matrix is listed under Add-ons->Extensions?

It’s not gonna be that easy, is it?

Are you trying to use this to output your Matrix data in a template? Can you share that template with me?

Are there any other add-ons in use that might have an impact on this?
